Michelle Johnson loves helping her firm grow by enabling amazing people to perform at their best. She currently serves as Stout’s Chief Revenue Officer and leads the company’s strategy for long-term revenue growth by expanding the value Stout’s teams provide to clients. Prior to joining Stout, Michelle was Deputy Chief Revenue Officer at Kroll and spent over twenty years leading teams to present complex analyses to large multinational corporations’ finance and tax departments. Earlier in her career, she served as the head of U.S. operations for one of Inc. Magazine’s 500 fastest growing consulting firms. She has contributed to four books on pricing and valuation, and has guest lectured at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management on topics related to revenue growth.
Michelle lives in Evanston, IL with her young son and daughter, and her husband. She enjoys weightlifting while listening to podcasts, racing her kids down ski hills, and hiking someplace fabulous every year with her twin sister (Amanda Hollis). Recently, Michelle started playing piano again after a long break, and finally picked up golf 20 years after her dad told her it might help her career.
Leanne Berry is a serial connector who loves helping create solutions for her clients’ complex commercial insurance needs. A 20+ year industry veteran, she is currently Vice President of Distribution for Vantage Risk, a specialty re/insurer. She has spent her entire career in the Chicago area, having worked for Arch Insurance, AIG, and Accenture.
Leanne is an accomplished diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) leader and is a fervent supporter of the insurance industry’s Dive In Festival, the Association of Professional Insurance Women (APIW), and the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation (IICF). She is a graduate of Northwestern University in Evanston, IL, which is coincidentally where she lives with her husband and two children. When she’s not working, she can usually be found enjoying the lakefront, going to see live music, or watching her kids on the softball, baseball, and soccer fields.
Rachel Copenhaver loves tackling complex problems for clients facing high-stakes government investigations. She is a Shareholder in the Government Investigations and White Collar Defense group at Vedder Price P.C. Rachel’s practice includes representing companies and individuals in all phases of government investigations, conducting internal investigations, counseling clients during regulatory examinations, and defending companies and individuals in securities class actions, shareholder derivative lawsuits, and other litigation. Rachel has practiced at Vedder Price for the duration of her career where she enjoys collaborating with talented, thoughtful attorneys.
Rachel lives in Northbrook, IL with her six-year-old son, Lucas, six-month old daughter, Elizabeth, and her husband, Steve. She loves to spend time outdoors and visit Chicago’s many museums with her family. A self-proclaimed restaurant explorer, Rachel also enjoys researching for and planning their next trip, World War II history, and Oregon and Washington wines.
Maggie DiMartino is an Enterprise Risk and Controls Director at PwC with over 11 years of experience helping clients with Internal Audit, Enterprise Risk Management, and Compliance solutions. Maggie leads both Sarbanes Oxley Compliance projects as well as targeted projects that tackle the top risks facing her clients using technology and analytics.
Maggie focuses primarily on the consumer markets industry and is a member of the Cyber, Risk and Regulatory consumer markets leadership team. She completed a tour with the Internal Audit Center of Excellence helping build content and automation materials for the firm’s Sarbanes Oxley Compliance methodology.
Maggie also leads the Candid Conversations pillar of her team’s Women’s Inclusion Network which provides an avenue for women to support each other in both their professional and personal lives.
Maggie’s husband and two sons, aged 3 and 4, are her number one clients.
Amanda Hollis loves handling challenging cases and partnering with clients to help them achieve long-term business strategies through litigation. She is a Partner in the Intellectual Property group at Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Amanda represents clients in high-stakes patent cases involving a broad range of technologies and subject matters, including companies in the pharmaceutical, biological, medical device, semiconductor, telecommunications, banking and computer hardware industries. Amanda has been practicing patent litigation for 15 years, 10 of which have been at Kirkland & Ellis.
Amanda lives in the northern suburbs of Chicago with her husband, Jeremy. She loves to go camping with her family and enjoys competitive running, paddle tennis and archery.
Elizabeth Hutchins loves connecting with people and building positive and productive relationships with her clients, colleagues, and business / legal friends. She partners with companies and their legal counsel to provide litigation support / expert witness services on complex high-stakes multi-million dollar legal disputes. She performs complex data analyses (often leveraging millions of records of electronic data) to quantify damages / exposure. Elizabeth is a Managing Director in the Global Disputes & Economics practice and is a lifer (!!) at her firm – Ankura (formerly Navigant) and has worked in the Los Angeles and Chicago offices for the last 18 years. She currently focuses her practice on supporting healthcare managed care companies / payors understand and value the claims at-issue in their disputes with providers. She is a currently a member of a legal aid board in Chicago: CARPLS (Coordinated Advice & Referral Program for Legal Services) and the Economic Club of Chicago.
Elizabeth lives in Winnetka (where she grew up) with her two young active and wild boys (Hayes and Grant) who are lovers of all sports + games. She enjoys going on adventures and trips with her family (often to Cape Cod). She is an also an avid / obsessed competitive paddle tennis player.
Marissa Ingley loves to find practical solutions to interesting problems. She is Chief Counsel, Labor and Employment, at Archer Daniels Midland Company (ADM). With over 15 years of practice behind her, Marissa partners closely with business and human resource leaders at ADM to provide expert advice on employment and labor law issues and assist them in solving their business problems. Prior to moving in-house, Marissa was a Shareholder at the law firm Littler Mendelson. Marissa spent time as an in-house attorney at Fortune Brands Home & Security before joining ADM.
Marissa lives in Lincoln Square in Chicago with her husband, two sons and pets. Marissa’s family likes to keep busy! They enjoy skiing, bike riding, playing in the park and traveling. Marissa also enjoys exercising (when she has time), reading and trying new restaurants.
Kate Lattner loves helping her clients navigate multifaceted accounting and financial issues in both commercial disputes and corporate investigations. She is a Managing Director at The Claro Group where she brings 15 years of experience to lead its Forensic Accounting and Investigations practice. Kate focuses on cases involving complex accounting matters, accounting reconstruction, damages and lost profits calculations, forensic analyses, fraud and misconduct allegations, and intricate asset tracing analyses. Kate routinely works on commercial disputes, post-acquisition disputes, internal investigations and U.S. Bankruptcy and cross border restructuring matters. In addition, Kate is experienced in accounting and auditor malpractice matters, and related Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) guidance matters. She has also worked on U.S. regulatory investigations involving the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Department of Justice (DOJ).
Kate lives in Chicago with her two children Kingston and Kennedy. She loves experiencing life through their eyes and enjoys spending time immersed in the activities they love! Kate and her family enjoy exploring all there is to do in Chicago but also love to travel, spending time outdoors and outside of the city. In her free time, Kate is a workout and running junkie, a lover of the Chicago restaurant scene and Sunday morning donuts with her kids. She believes it’s all about maintaining a balance!
Christina Maytum has spent the majority of her career in strategic finance roles and is currently the Vice President of Corporate Finance and Real Estate at Crate and Barrel. In this role, she oversees Corporate and Business Financial Planning & Analysis including forecasting and budgeting, as well as Business Development and other ad hoc finance needs for the company. She also manages the portfolio of Crate&Barrel and CB2 Store real estate holdings, including new and 100+ existing locations. Recently, she was called on to be the Interim CFO of the company while the organization searched for a new CEO.
Christina lives in the northern suburbs of Chicago and keeps very busy with sports and other activities of her two boys.
Molly McGinley enjoys learning about different industries and handling diverse issues on a regular basis, which keeps her work challenging and fresh. She is a Litigation Partner at the Chicago office of Honigman LLP. She concentrates her practice in class action litigation and other complex disputes. She represents a broad range of clients ranging from small private companies to global public companies in a variety of industries, including energy, healthcare, digital health, technology, automotive, food and beverage and financial services. Molly's class action experience includes representing clients nationally in actions under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (“TCPA”) and other similar state laws, the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (“BIPA”) and consumer fraud statutes. In addition to her litigation work, Molly frequently advises clients with respect to compliance with telemarketing and biometric privacy laws. Molly also has experience representing publicly held corporations in complex securities derivative and class action lawsuits in various jurisdictions.
Molly lives in Roscoe Village in Chicago with her sons Breck and Patrick, who are in grade school, and her husband, David. Like many families, they got a new puppy in 2020 and named her Lillipup, after one of their favorite Pokémon. She is a classically trained violinist and loves visiting with extended family and enjoying Chicago’s beautiful summer weather.
As Marketing Director for Big Careers Little Kids, Courtney Ramirez brings to the organization a passion for engaging audiences and building brands. Courtney has had a dynamic, advancing marketing career spanning large multinational companies as well as small and mid-sized businesses. She is currently a Vice President of Marketing Strategy for J.P. Morgan Bank Chase Commercial Bank where she develops integrated marketing campaigns that deepen relationships with the firm's middle market clients.
Courtney lives in the near west suburbs with her young daughter. The two can often be found doing their favorite things: trying new restaurants, breaking a sweat at the trampoline park, or getting some fresh air at their local park district.
Christina Roupas partners with public companies through every step of their life cycle – from IPO to strategic acquisitions and beyond. She is a founding partner of Cooley LLP’s Chicago office and now in addition to listening to her favorite podcast, “How I Built This,” she is spending her days helping to build the team and culture of a new and growing office. Christina focuses her practice on general corporate and securities matters, including representing issuers and investment banks in capital markets and leveraged finance transactions, mergers and acquisitions and counseling public companies regarding disclosure, corporate governance, and other securities law and compliance issues.
Christina lives in Glen Ellyn, IL with her two young sons, Hunter and James, and her husband, Lee. A New York native, Christina enjoys trips to the East Coast to visit family, reading, and her beloved Peloton bike.
Kiley Carter enjoys building relationships and executing on investments that create value for her team, partners, and investors. Currently, Kiley is Principal at Singerman Real Estate LLC (SRE) where she leads much of the firm’s life science, industrial and office investing. In addition to her role on the acquisitions team, Kiley is oversees business development activities and fundraising efforts. Kiley is also a member of the firm’s investment committee, diversity and inclusion committee, and chair of WSRE, the firm’s first affinity group created for women team members of SRE.
Prior to SRE, Kiley was at Pearlmark Real Estate Partners (formerly Transwestern Investment Company), where she was the lead underwriter on over $2 billion of real estate assets and held a central role working directly with senior management in firm wide strategic initiatives.
Kiley lives in Evanston with her husband Nate and their two young children, Audrey and Owen, who keep her on her toes. She loves to cook for her family, travel (usually involving a local restaurant scene), and listening to live music. She also enjoys getting outside with her family - walking or biking the lakefront and skiing.
Julie Halperin is a strategic legal professional who has served in a variety of executive roles focused on mitigating corporate risk, mergers & acquisitions, and commercial finance. Julie most recently served as VP, Assistant General Counsel – M&A and Integration at Univar Solutions, a global leader in ingredient and chemical distribution, where she also held various roles over the past 5+ years. Prior to Univar, Julie worked in-house at Bank of Montreal supporting the commercial bank, as outside counsel at Goldberg Kohn and Vedder Price handling commercial finance, M&A and securitization matters, and at Accenture managing post-merger integration projects, systems design and development, and process re-engineering.
Julie is a mom of two (Beverly, 11 and Vinston, 8) and enjoys competing with herself on Peloton, carving through snow-covered landscapes, and experiencing new adventures around the world.
